Driveshaft Maintenance
Your International truck’s primary driveshaft is responsible for transferring power from your transmission to your first differential. From there, secondary driveshafts connect your secondary and tertiary differentials. In your International trucks that have multiple drive modes, you will likely have another primary driveshaft connecting their transfer case to their front differential. Maintaining your driveshaft is a matter of replacing bearings when necessary and ensuring U joints remain in good condition.
Head Gasket Repair
Every engine within your International fleet of trucks has a head gasket. This head gasket essentially splits your engine in half, with each half being referred to as either a cylinder block or cylinder head. Not only does this head gasket allow access to your engine’s inner components, but it also lets the engine expand and contract at different temperatures.
